Out of an abundance of caution EISD is canceling all school activities starting at 6 p.m. tonight through noon, Sat. Feb. 22 in response to a Winter Weather Advisory. We’ll continue to monitor the weather & send updates if there are any changes to events Saturday afternoon.

The best students arrive to school on time every day! Our doors will open early tomorrow. Students, faculty, and staff, are allowed to wear PJs the rest of the week due to the cold weather. We will see you all tomorrow!
Join us on Friday, March 28 for the Gus Garcia Spring Fest and Health Resource Fair. The event will take place in the back parking lot close to the soccer field, 5 PM to 7 PM. Come out and enjoy live music, activities, and food for sale!

Students will be taking their Math or Algebra STAAR Interim Exam tomorrow, February 13. We follow all TEA Testing Policies and Procedures per state guidelines. TEA states that students are not allowed to have ANY electronic device during testing. Per district policy, we are required to collect all electronic devices, which include cell phones, Apple watches, smart watches, Air Pods, etc. Please remind students to leave their electronics at home or turn them in to their test administrator. All devices are locked in a secure area until testing concludes.
Please be sure to send your students to school on time at 8:00 AM. We estimate our campus will be done testing by 3 PM. Please do not pick up students early as it can disrupt the testing environment. We appreciate your continued support and partnership!
